For my piece I used a quote by Martin Luther King Jr. When looking at potential quotes to use for this project this one stuck out to me. Love drives people together. The hatred carried in our hearts darkens life and drives us apart. I decided to focus on the word illuminate and created a glowing heart to symbolize love brightening our lives.
