This artwork was created to spread awareness on LGBTQ+ issues, especially since it is an issue that barely gets recognition sometimes. I know that LGBTQ+ people struggle with issues that are unique to them, and I wanted to illustrate that they and other LGBTQ+ supporters can overcome these challenges if they come together and love each other. I decided to include the rainbow bridge because I know an example of that exists in real life with a rainbow trail, so I wanted to mirror that with a rainbow bridge for LGBTQ+ recognition. There is also a queer couple in the middle holding hands, so I was hoping for this to make it clear that LGBTQ couples love each other just as much and are deserving to be treated with respect.
